Smokin Jack's BBQ

The Hughes family's slow-smoked passion project at 220 N. Park Street, just off the main road in downtown Owosso. Brothers Jake and Jackie Hughes, along with Stephanie, spent two years building a following with their food truck before opening the brick-and-mortar in 2025. Locals can't stop talking about the pulled pork sandwich, the BBQ burrito, and the smoked mac and cheese — and 100% of Facebook reviewers recommend the place. Open Thursday through Saturday, with catering available for weddings and parties up to 200.
